The following notes give some background to the CTO3 Order (to return to hospital) issued at 9.00 am on 7 September 2016, four hours before a meeting scheduled for 1.00 pm that same day. I did not attend the meeting as I was unaware of its existence.
After my release from the Peter Hodgkinson Centre (PHC), aka mental hospital, on the 23rd of March 2015 I was put onto a Community Treatment Order (CTO) and was supposed to carry on taking 10mg of Olanzapine per day (was up to 20 mg per day during my imprisonment) but instead I reduced it to 25mg per week because I found it very difficult to concentrate and extremely difficult to write or think creatively as I had previously been forced to spend nearly three months in two secure hospitals being forced against my will to consume mind-destroying drugs, which destroyed my former talents in business and engineering design skills.
After cutting the dose to 25mg per week I noticed a big improvement in my mental capabilities, but as I hadn’t been asked for any blood sample tests by Dr Gopee I decided to take the risk for the sake of both my health and my business. I stopped taking them completely some time around late May 2015.
When my November 18th 2015 appeal arrived, I kept it a secret that I hadn’t been consuming any Olanzapine, which made it quite amusing when the so-called experts said that if it wasn’t for the Olanzapine then I wouldn’t have been behaving as normally as I was.
I didn’t tell anyone that I wasn’t taking the pills but when my daughter tided my room just before Christmas in return for a favour, she discovered some of my stash of unopened boxes of Olanzapine so after a while all of my family got to know that I wasn’t taking them. Around three months ago I contacted the Rethink Mental Illness organisation and spoke with an adviser about my situation and he advised me that being “delusional” is no reason to justify being sectioned. When I asked him about a person being sectioned because his conduct may cause someone else to hurt them, the advisor replied that they can’t be.
On hearing these two facts, and coupled to the fact that I have never been a danger to my children as Dr Gopee has claimed, I realised that the Lincoln NHS is effectively both breaking and abusing the Mental Health Act laws, so from that moment on I let everyone know, with the exception of the Community Treatment Order (CTO) team, that I hadn’t been taking Olanzapine.
Back in about May 2016 I was told to sign up with a new doctors’ surgery, having been struck off from my closest surgery (why?) which I had attended for over 40 years. When asked to go for a blood test about three months ago I declined my appointment because I did not want to take the risk of my blood samples being “declared” as containing Olanzapine — even though they couldn’t possibly contain any Olanzapine due to my having stopped “self-medicating”, but I have five years’ of experience of “them” being outright liars. If my blood tests were wrongfully declared as containing Olanzapine that could have been used against my proof that I do not need to be drugged into stupidity with Olanzapine to behave like a normal “red blooded man”.
Around the 1st of September 2016 my CTO rep Darren Cameron called me to arrange a meeting at my premises on the 6th of September. When I told him that it was my birthday he changed the day to 8th September, but never mentioned that I had a scheduled appointment with Dr Gopee on the 7th of September at 1.00 pm. At around 1.09 pm I received a call from a very stern lady asking me why hadn’t I turned up for the 1.00 pm meeting, notification of which came by post, was signed for by someone else and not passed on to me.
Darren Cameron called me at 4:49 pm on the 8th of September to inform me that there was a CTO3 order in my post box which he claimed had been posted the day before and then informed me that there was a bed waiting for me at the PHC (Lincoln City’s official “Nut House”) because I had broken the rules of my CTO.
As the dates and times prove, it was intended that when I turned up at Dr Gopee’s appointment that I would have been taken into PHC without warning.
When the very stern lady called me about the missed appointment, I informed her of the devastation that her organisation had imposed upon my business, and just like with Dr Gopee she wasn’t concerned in the slightest. During our call I repeatedly emphasised to her the fact that her organisation was “dealing with fire!”. [She had called me using a mobile telephone and her number was: 07896 561695]
CTO3 Recall to Hospital for Adrian D Chetwynd, Dated 7 September 2016 (Pages 1 & 2)
For ease of reading, here is the wording of handwritten message on page 1 of the CTO3:
“You have missed your last out patient appointment; you have been increasingly aggressive in the appointments in which I have seen you and on the telephone; your delusional beliefs appear more prominent and are increasing your levels of arousal; you declined the investigations required for me to prescribe for you safely and I suspect you are drinking excessively and not taking your medication. You have not engaged effectively with our team”.
